Day 17

f5.6
I know this isn't the greatest photo but anytime I get one where he's looking at me and smiling - it's reason to celebrate! I keep wondering what I could do to get him to LOOK AT ME! If you figure out something that works w/ your little ones...let me know!

I think Melissa and Lynette learned some techniques to get your child to look at the camera from Kiddie Kandids. You should ask them about it ;)
Really cute picture Leslie.

Very cute. I like the angle you used. Definitely makes the picture more interesting visually. Good job! Well worth dragging your big heavy bag all over today! ;)

I like your angle too. So cute!

Oh yeah, we learned a lot from Kiddie Kandids. It really helps to make annoying sounds and to keep sticking a feather in their face until they almost start to cry--then hurry and take the picture. It works, I promise:-)

He is such a cutie!! I love all the different angles you do. Like Sarah said, it makes the picture more interesting visually. Great job!!

I was totally going to make a comment about our Kiddie Kandid adventure...thats funny. I don't know any special tricks to make them smile and look. I jsut make myself look like a fool till something works. Great pic though and you got a cutie cutie little boy!

Here's one that works for me with my youngest. Have him close his eyes and do a countdown:
3, 2, 1, SMILE!
And sometimes make sure they know you're not going to use a flash, because anticipating the flash keeps a lot of kids from looking at the camera.
